Six years ago, my husband Tom and I renovated our tired kitchen and were able to transform it into something spectacular. The final stage of this renovation involved a tile backsplash behind our kitchen sink. Although my husband is a do-it-yourself kind of guy and had some past experience with tiling, we both knew that this project called for skilled craftspeople and Tilecraft was able to get the job done. Not only did Dale and Mary Jo Censer guide us with our selection of tile, but their talented crew at Tilecraft painstakingly cut and installed these very beautiful and fragile glass tiles. The look is stunning, plus it captures and reflects the lovely Northern Michigan light in our woods. Educated, ethical, enthusiastic, and talanted describes Dale Censer and Mary Jo Censer, owners of TileCraft. I met Dale and Mary Jo over renovating my 100+ year old home. Dale knew exactly how to tile the entire back end of my old house with a dry packed mud set with lots of cement in the powder. The more cement and the dryer the mix, the stronger concrete becomes when it chemically sets up. This was 22 years ago and all the ceramic tile is still like new without any tile or grout cracks. The floor beams are made of Michigan logs and even though the old floor was not level; it hasn't moved since it was installed. Next Dale put in my fireplace surround over the old brick in Travertine marble. I wish I could select him on every tile project designed by my firm; but the general contractor has control over tile and flooring contractors. I would recommend every general contractor and owner planning to put in tile, stone, custom showers, and/or countertops at least talk to Tilecraft representatives to get the benefit of their years of experience in this industry. - Knol Leelanau county

I was in the dark on the whole tile floor option until I spent time with the talented crew at Tile Craft of Traverse City Michigan, I had several shower area's and complex floor shapes that I was wanting tile to be used in. Dale and his TEAM put together a solution that was spot on and to this day I have had ZERO cracks or issues with any of the 3000 + sqr. Feet of tile. They are the last of the true artists in the tile flooring world. I also had them install heated flooring pads under the tile in the bathing area, master suites, and lavatory area. This has and continues to impres on how affordable it is to operate and keep our feet warm on those chilly mornings I remember the name "NU Heat" with a wall unit to program and control the heat at various times of the day,week,and year... I can not recommend this product enough I love this, my wife loves this,... my dog loves this.
